Which Resort CBR or POFQ ?

Our family will be staying 6 nights From Dec 28th through Jan 3rd 2003. Our boys love Disney. 11 and 14. I know everyone has thier favorites but our choice is between CBR and POFQ. I would like to hear your opinions. Dennis

I was at CBR this July with my 14yo nephew and he said that CBR is his favorite so far. We have stayed at CSR and POR also at the contemporary. I think I have to agree with him I really liked CBR it was so relaxing.

Definitely POFQ!!! We have stayed at both resorts and to me there is really no comparison. We love the French Quarter because of the size and atmosphere. We were not impressed with the CBR

I'd stay at the POFQ. We were not at all impressed by the CBR.

Everyone has different opinions, but to me, CBR is the way to go. This resort is so beautiful.......the white sand beaches, palm trees, hammocks, etc. Pure heaven for the adults.

For kids, most of the villages have "jungle-gym" type areas on their beaches.

CBR is currently closed for restaurant refurbishment, so if you choose this resort, you'll have the pleasure of eating in a brand spankin' new restaurant. In addition, the entire resort was recently refurbished, so your room will be "new"!!!

I've stayed at both, and prefer POFQ for the size and atmosphere but CBR for the location. From the CBR main pool you can hear Tapestry of Dreams and see some of the Illuminations fireworks. It's pretty nice.

My 8 year old prefers POFQ because he says the games in the arcade are cooler.

I appreciate all of the responses. My instincts tell me to give CBR a try. Last New Years we took the kids to DisneyLand and this year the spoiled brats get to experience Disney World. Actually they are not spoiled but definitely Disney addicts. Thanks Dennis
