We are planning on going with my sister and brother and their families next year either in June or August. My husband and I and her 2 girls will already have tickets since we are going with his family in 22 days. So we only need a resort. we have never stayed on property and I was wanting to do that so I was going to book our resort and surprise my hubby. But which one to choose. I am for sure it will have to be a moderate or a deluxe as my husband does not like to be crowded. My children will be 3 1/2 and 12 at the time of the trip. We will be in our room some for the 3 1/2 yr old to take nap and rest and as I have to rest because I have problems with my knees and feet. We will use the pool and would like to have slides and be fun. On a side note my youngest does not like loud noises. Which resort would you pick?

For a moderate, we love POFQ. It's compact, the rooms are nice and a decent size, the food court is good and the pool is really neat, nice dragon slide. We did not use the busses the last time we visited because we had a rental car so I cannot comment on the transportation.

For a deluxe, I suggest the Poly. The resort is outstandning. So beautiful and serene and the transportation is great, esp. to MK. The pool is wonderful and both your kids would enjoy it. If you're looking for another choice in deluxe but a little less expeisive, we also love WL. The boat to MK is really nice and we did not have any trouble with the busses to the other parks. I love the pool and the theming was great.

Have a magical trip!!

Depends on your budget. We are trying WL this year because it is cheaper and so nice. We like the "all under one roof" it will provide since we are going in June in the rainy season. We also like the boat to Mk and back since we have little one's who we return to the rooms for naps with also we feel this will be a great way to get back easily in the afternoons. My son is excited about the bunkbeds available at the resort also.

If money isn't a huge object then I would go for the Poly on the monorail, we would love to but can't afford it this year.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but I think you will love WL :cool1: We split our stay on our honeymoon with GF/Poly/WL....in that order.....I actually thought I was going to be disappointed moving to WL after great stays at GF and Poly. Boy was I wrong  I LOVED WL!! I am not the "outdoorsy" type so I thought the theming and overall feel of the hotel would not suit me, but we got a great AP rate so I was willing to try it. So glad I did!!!! It was wonderful....we still talk about which hotel we liked best out of the three and it's really a toss up....have a great trip!!!
