Which res would you drop?

Going Saturday

We have 3 ressies that are set (CM, 1900 PF, and Akershus)

We are still hoping for CP or CRT (I know-- )

We have 3 ressies that I am up in the air with (note, we are not staying at AKL and we have 2 toddlers).

If you were going to lose one, which of these would you drop?

* O'hanas Dinner
* Boma Breakfast
* Hollywood & Vine Lunch

I would probably drop Boma since you're not staying at AKL unless you have this planned as an early breakfast on an AK day.

I'm not a fan of Boma...but I'm a picky eater and the menu didnt appeal to me. I would check out the menus first and make your decision. O'hana's is awesome. We've done it twice so good. Hollywood and Vine gets a C is average buffet. Good Luck!

Good point and we did figure that would be our AK day (it's an 8:30 breakfast res, too, which is ideal). I love all the walking/meandering at AK, which is also perfect to do after a big breakfast!

We are staying at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek resort, so we're nearly on property (AKL wouldn't be a problem to drive in the rental car).

My MIL is obsessed with the Poly and everything about it, so I do know she would be crushed if we axe'd O'hana.

I have been reading all the H&V threads that I can find. It seems to be either "awesome time" or "absolutely revolting" From what I gather, it's standard buffet madness, mediocre food but good variety, heavy on the chaos. Our kids do like The Little Einstein Characters ( I saw pics of them and thought they looked alarming up close and huge), and Jojo is a little disturbing for all of us Meh.

Ohana is great if you have kids. Lots of action for the little ones.

We're eating at Boma on our upcoming trip, but I think if you are planning on going to AK that day, you might want to keep it.

I'd only keep H&V if your kids really love the Little Einsteins and need to have them. But it seems like you have plenty of character meals so far.

Keeping in mind the OP has toddlers I would keep the Hollywood and Vine - that would be fun for them.

I am not a huge fan of Boma or Ohana's but we have done both. We stayed at AKL in October and ate at Bomas for breakfast and I would definitely not make the transportation effort required to go to breakfast there if I was not all ready staying there.

We are already discussing our 09 trip and highly considering staying at AKL, so with that in mind, yes, it would make more sense to enjoy Boma while we are on the property.

(now I am better understanding why people get all over adrs)
