Which requests are typed on reservation letter?

Noticed that only the non-smoking and king bed were typed in as requests on the confirmation reservation letter sent. Is that typical, not to type in the specific room area and view requests? Thx.

Yes - don't worry! That's always how it is on mine. Call Central Reservations about a week before your trip (maybe 10 days) and confirm your reservation and your room requests. Sometimes they will have them, other times they will not and can add them at that point.

Just so you hear it from 2 people - don't worry. That's how our reservations always look, and we always have a ton of requests. Just call them before your trip to comfirm, as sometimes you think they are being written down and somehow they get lost. We've almost always gotten our requests, and when they couldn't do it they worked with us to find the next best alternative and we've never been unhappy!

Wow, CaliforniaDreamer, glad you asked this because I was wondering the exact same thing. Only king and non-smoking are listed on our ressie forms. I see that the others are suggesting to call CRO one week before our check in, are we supposed to call the hotel directly a few days in advance as well? When do they start making room assignments?

The same thing happened to me. I just got my reservation in the mail and when I looked at it it only had 1 of my 3 requests. So I called them up and asked them if they had the other 2 requests on their computer and they did. She said it was just the way it printed. I asked her when the resort gets the request will it be on there(all 3 requests) and she said yes. So even though it doesn't show up on our reservation most likely it is on there for the resort.
