Just wondering which radio station people listen to when in Orlando/Florida. We are going to be spending quite a bit of time in the car on the next trip and want to find a station with the kind of music we all like. We mostly like the oldies - 70s and 80s and are also partial to a bit of country.

We managed to find a great station on our last trip but it was pure chance while scanning through and now none of us can remember the frequency.

Since we are not just travelling around Orlando I would be grateful for recommendations for wider-Florida stations also.

as soon as we get in the car we tune in to WPCV (97.5FM)
It's a lakeland country radio station, it covers most of central florida.

you can "test drive" the radio by tuning in over the internet http://www.wpcv.com and listen live

We listen to magic the whole family is quiet a deliah fan! Shes the presenter/agony aunt in the evenings! Not sure what the station number is though

WOMX - 105.1 for us. As long as it's not playing that damn annoying Scratch n Dent World commercial 30 times an hour when we're next there, anyway...

Another vote here for Mix105.1
A few years ago, we had the pleasure of a studio tour and also appeared in a live interview broadcast on the Scott & Erica breakfast show. We were given a copy of the recording at a momento. They were amazed at our midland accents! :lmao:
We had a great time and was given loads of gifts
Unfortunately, Erica Lee is no longer at the station
