Which queue is more enjoyable, 7DMT or Peter Pan?

Repeat Disney go'ers, which queue do you think is more fun/worth standing in, 7DMT or Peter Pan?

I am purposely avoiding FP+ for both rides on the morning we have an 8am ADR at BOG, so that we can experience the queues and their interactive parts. We have only enjoyed these with a FP, or standby when FP+ didn't exist and the line for Peter wasn't ridiculous, hence my intentions.

Anyway! I expect to be in line for one of these before the 9am park opening, and then will go to the other after we finish with the first.

I think I want to do the "more fun" queue second because I expect by the time we get off the first there will be a small line that will have formed. Or, if they are both equally "fun", which one do you think will experience the fastest line growth right at opening; maybe we will just do that one first.

FWIW, this is for Sept 4. Touring Plans puts this day at a 7. All other crowd calendars put it as a "light" day.

It depends, both are interactive queues now if i am correct?

the "more fun" one would definitely be 7DMT, it has those interactive games, a water dispenser thing (haha) and the indoor mine section.

but i think peter pan- it is air conditioned and has better interactive elements.

Definitely Peter Pan. 7DMT has some cool features but theres still lots of old school boring line to stand in. Peter Pan has more to look at and for a larger portion of the que IMHO.

Peter Pan easily. 7dmt is a good queue view wise and 3 fun little games for young kids. Peter Pan is visually better, all inside in A/C, and better interactive visuals.

Peter Pan by default because I've never stood in the 7DMT one. We did enjoy the PP one

Peter Pan is the only queue I recommend standing in once. After that, there is no queue at WDW worth spending extra time in line for.

I think I would say PP as well. I do caution you that even with being in the park before opening, you could be standing in line for close to an hour after exiting your first ride. Is it possible to be at MK for rope drop a second day? If so then I would ride the second one as stand by on that day.

I'm curious if people are aware of the "Easter Egg" in the 7DMT queue with the spinning barrels? Getting that one to activate is difficult, because you need cooperation from people in two different pieces of the line.

I will never understand the fascination with Peter Pan. Was never a huge fan of that ride. Maybe because of the insane lines. But I LOVE the queue for 7DMT. Went back to MK solo one night on a family trip and enjoyed the queue so much.

Yes you need like all 6 people working together. Most have no idea the spinning jewels actually come together. You usually just see kids spinning and spinning

I prefer the new Peter Pan queue.
Another strategy would be to visit one at rope drop and the other just before park close. As long as you are in line before closing time, you will be able to experience the ride. Lines aren't as long at the end of the night because there is no one returning with FP+. We have entered the queues for both PP and 7DMT with less than 5 minutes before park closing. I prefer 7DMT at night so that's the one we do most often to end our day at MK.

I used to feel this way until I had to experience the PP interactive queue. It was well done and very enjoyable. I would even do it again, just not over and over!!!

Oh, it's very well done and totally enjoyable. No question. I just don't think it's worth a 45 minute wait.
