Which Property to Choose in Marriott Village?

We are looking to stay for 3 nights after our WDW onsite stay for relaxing and shopping. This is our post-parks downtime. We are considering the Marriott Village, but now sure which one to choose. There are Fairfield, Courtyard, and Springhill Suites hotels.

Does anyone know if we can use the pools at all the properties if you stay in one?

We are a party of 2 adults and 2 children (4 & 8). Thanks

Check for any construction going on. DS stayed at Fairfield in October and there was lots of construction and the breakfast area was closed. They had to walk to one of the other hotels to eat. I don't know if they will all be getting some renovations but I would certainly check before I booked.

We like Springhill. The rooms are slightly larger than Courtyard and Fairfield. The room is also sectioned off a little bit so that it has a sitting area with couch, desk, tv, and kitchenette (fridge, sink, microwave). This makes it easier one of us wants to sleep early and others want to watch TV. Free breakfast too, which is nice.

We like Marriott Village, but it can be difficult getting in/out because of the traffic from the outlets down the road.

This... the area is a traffic nightmare and I would not stay there unless it was completely free and even then my time may be worth more than the free lodging. I would try other options away from that area. Embassy Suites South, Hampton Inn South, any of the DTD resorts.

We like springhill too. It has a little kitchenette and the breakfast was good. When we were there you could use the pools of any of the hotels.

I agree with PP traffic is crazy in that area plus they charge a parking fee $8 a day. If you want to stay at a Marriot hotel stay at the Courtyard on Palm Parkway. Plus it is about $25 cheaper to stay at the Palm Parkway location. Its closer to Disney than the Marriott village is. There is also a Residence Inn on Palm Parkway about 1/2 mile from the Courtyard

I would not recommend this hotel for a relaxing non-park stay.
Personally, if you must stay here consider staying here during your park (ie: just a place to sleep) and then enjoy your non-park days in your Disney resort.
