Which price will I pay?

I feel like this is probably a stupid question and that I know the answer, but I'm going to ask it anyway :rotfl2:

I have two cruises booked; the first one is booked using an OBB so I've got a discounted price, blah blah blah.

My second cruise was booked without an OBB and I booked it on opening day. If I were to upgrade our room on this second cruise will I pay the price that the room is NOW or will I pay the price that it was on opening day? I'm assuming it's the current price but I had to ask.

And yes I know I can try and reshop the second cruise on the first upcoming one but the prices have already gone up so much that it will still cost more even with the 10% discount and $200OBC.

Once you've got a reservation on a specific cruise, you are locked into whatever the prices were on the day the original reservation was made. So, upgrading to a different category, you'll pay what that category cost on the day you made the reservation, not today's price.

The good news is that you are wrong :)

You'll pay the price it was on the day your first booked (i.e. opening day). I think that things are a bit different with Concierge, but always get confused.

Really? Well then I AM pleasantly surprised! Thank you for the good news, Shmoo :worship:

Haha I'm not usually happy to be wrong (happens so rarely bwahahaha :rotfl:) but in this case I am happy to be wrong!

Well, there's a difference if you book a Concierge room, and want to downgrade. Your concierge deposit, while transferable to the new booking (non-concierge) remains non-refundable.
