We have always stayed in preferred loop but are going to try premium. So we are wondering which loop has the biggest sites.

Michael-

That is a good question.

As sites were converted from full or preferred to premium, a lot of trees were removed, but the basic site footprints were not changed. So, the loops that were more crowded before are still more crowded now.

In my opinion, the sites in 400, 500, 900 and 1400 are the tightest. Also the old part of the 600 loop has some tight sites.

That would leave the new part of 600, 700, 800, 1000, 1100, 1200, and 1300 as the premium sites with more generous space between the sites.

We were in 1001 for 2 weeks including the Fourth of July. I hated the site, but my daughter in law loved it for all the reasons I hated it. It was right across from the store, next to the road , the bus stop and the comfort station. We had a 29' motorhome, a 5' x 8' trailer and a golf cart. We were packed in there like sardines. There were better, larger sites in the interior part of the loop but we didn't try to change sites. We had requested something different, but we didn't get it. We still had fun, but next time we're going to go back and ask for a different site if we don't like what we're assigned.

Michael-

I'd shoot for the 1200 loop. It's a small loop with very nice sites. There are some sites on this loop and in 1100 that I was very surprised Disney didn't try to cram another site between when they were doing reno's.

TCD is correct about the older loops and the tight sites. IMHO, the worst area is on a curve in 500 where the front pads of 3 sites are actually one pad. Okay for a family group, not okay for strangers.

Thanks for the replies. What I am looking for are deep(long) sites. My truck and trailer hooked up are about 60' long and in the perfect site I could back my trailer in and then unload the golf carts.

1431 is the best site. Its large and shady and has lots of room in between sites and backs up to the canal. Enjoy!

We just returned home from a week at the fort. I will have to agree with des1954 on the 1200 loop. We were in site 1208 and just loved it!! It is a small loop, but lots of space in between sites. Next time we go, I will request the 1200 loop again!! by far my favorite loop....
