We are coming in from California for a few days in late July. My daughter wants to spend one day at Epcot since she will be turning 21 during the trip. We have one, maybe two more park days while there. We were thinking of doing AK since we don't have that here in California (we are only an hour from DLR and go all the time). However, I know the 50th is going on. Is there anything really special going on in any of the parks that we should not miss for the 50th?
I would love your thoughts as we plan.

If you get park hoppers you could do them all!

Not really. The MK nighttime show Enchantment was supposedly created for the 50th, but other than that I can't think of anything special. Search this forum for Enchantment to get guests' reactions to it - we haven't seen it yet. Harmonious at Epcot is also new, and if the rumored opening date for Guardians of the Galaxy is correct, you'll have a chance to ride that and Remy at Epcot as well.

Having been to DLR several times in the last few years, I agree with visiting AK in addition to Epcot if you're looking for the most different attractions - FoP is unique!

Thanks for the reply. Good to know about the 50th events. Its so easy to park hop at DLR. You can just walk back and forth all day long. But at WDW, its definitely more difficult and then I feel super rushed. Maybe just Epcot and AK then if there isn't anything super special going on. I know we are also doing a day at Universal and maybe a water park. Quick trip, but again, we will be spending many days at DLR over the summer too.
