Which park

I will be in Orlando for the first time over New Years eve (alone). DH doesn't arrive til later in the week.

Which parks have the best light/firework shows? Are they all at midnight?

And what is the best game plan? I am assuming that all parks will be totally packed to the limit.

Is it even worth the effort required?

Any and all suggestions/comments appreciated.

Thanks. I was debating between the two of those. From the threads I have read through on here, it seemed that everyone figured Epcot would be totally packed. But you think it is easier to leave Epcot than the Magic Kingdom? Because of the extra distance to the parking lot, or due to the parking lot design?

At Epcot you don't depend on having to take a boat or monorail back to parking. The area at Epcot is more spread out so you aren't as crowded.

:earsboy: :earsgirl: We'll be at Epcot also. Wow there's a lot of people going there for NYE. Last year we were at Epcot for NYE, but thank goodness it wasn't that full.

We enjoy both fireworks shows, but IMHO, the one at Epcot is much more moving. I love it.

There are also 2 exits at Epcot, so the crowd may thin out a little.

Ok, Epcot it is. :flower:

Next question.........how warm are you going to dress? Do you think we will need actual jackets rather than just sweatshirts?
