Which Park on July 4th?

Will be in the World 7/3 to 7/12 staying in a timeshare off-site. Which park would be best on the 4th? I originally had planned to go to SeaWorld that day because I figured it might be a little less crowded, but now I'm thinking of going to Disney Studios instead so we can see the fireworks. Any suggestions?

We did Epcot for most of the day last year on the 4th but ended up heading over to the Studios around 6:00pm or so to watch Sorcery in the Sky there since it only happens once or twice a year usually.

Epcot crowds were not too bad, MGM was busy when we got there as we really did not ride any rides since most of the lines were very long. We grabbed a spot onm the street and waited for the fireworks and it was packed by the time they started but it was worth it.

MGM is quite small compared to the other parks so plan on it being a bit crowded there for most of the day. MK will be the busiest by far and will most likely close due to capacity limits sometime in the day.

We stayed off site and had no problem getting into MGM. We even drove our car over from Epcot and were able to get a parking spot at MGM. If you don't sepnd the whole day there you may want to get there a little earlier though, as we did get a parking spot but the lot was filling up quickly and we were pretty far out from the entrance.

We're going to be there too!! I'm thinking of going to Animal Kingdom that day. I was thinking that since there's no fireworks there, the crowds would be the smallest there. THen, in the evening, I'm making reservations at EPCOT for dinner and we'll watch Illuminations there.

It's a difficult decision!!

We're planning to spend the day at Epcot! We'll watch Illuminations and the special fireworks after!!! (This is our third time visiting during the July 4th holidays!! - We love it!)

Oh no!! It looks like we all have the same idea! We were in MK last July 4th and it was really crowded!! This year I had decided to do dinner at EPCOT and then stay for Illuminations. I'm sure it will be worth it no matter how the crowds are.

Hi Im gonna be there on july 4th too!!!
I've allready done MK and EC and the first one is mega crowded
been at EC too and is full but Illuminations is wonderfull and the special fireworks magnificents and so... we are going Epcot this year again is worth it!!!!!!


Also I'm hopping to see a lot of lime green since I'll be wearing mine...see ya there

We will be joining you on the 4th. We plan on spending the day at MGM, have a PS in Epcot and will stay to watch Illuminations and the special fireworks. Bec ause Epcot is so big, it will feel less crowded and is easier to get a good view.

We are going to Pleasure Island on the 3rd to watch their 4th of July fireworks. Then on the 4th we do MGM. I just love thier fireworks and you can only see them about two days out of the year.
