We are going to be at WDW for New Year's Eve. DD will by 6 months shy of 21 so can't join my DS and DDinLaw at PI. They are considering not doing PI if I can come up with an alternative. I had thought of the Spirit of Aloha Luau show but am not sure. What have other people done on New Year's Eve at WDW? I would appreciate any suggestions.

Unfortunately, the year we were there, I conked out at 9:30!!!!! We had to get up early to get into a park (this was 1999-2000) and I just couldn't last 'til midnight!

But - if I could do it again, I'd go to Epcot, where those that can can do the drinks around the world, and those that can't drink can still enjoy the countries and shopping around the world. Also, you can pick one of the upscale restaurants to try.

I know the Rose & Crown has a pub that you can enter and have a drink without dinner reservations but do the other countries have a bar that you can enter without dinner reservations to grab a quick drink as you make the tour around the world? Maybe dinner at the Biergarten would be good as it is always lively.
