Which park for New Years Eve?

FWIW, closed parks re-open later. I have been to the MK a few times when it was "closed". By the time we leave in the afternoon the park has re-opened and people are enntering the park again.

Even is an ADR doesn't guarantee entrance, I would recommend to book a sit-down restaurant. It gives you something to do for a couple hours where you are not in wall-to-wall people or in line. Plus, NYE can be a bit chilly and you can warm up.

Robin, thanks so much for the link to your trip report. I will make an ADR for sure. I just am not sure if my kids can make it until Midnight! I'm not sure if we'll do Tony's or Crystal Palace, but I'll try to make the reservation for around 7:30. Thanks for the advice!

Is anything happening on NYE at DTD???
DTD doesn't have anything special, but Pleasure Island always has a hard ticket party with fairly big name bands. [font=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Smash Mouth, S.O.S. Band, and Paul Jackson, Jr. played last year. Tickets were $89 each.

If you're looking for something outside the parks and/or free the Boardwalk has a DJ that spins tunes until about 1:00 AM. We went into Epcot for NYE and then went back to BWV (our hotel) after the fireworks and enjoyed some champagne and danced until 1:00. I'm not sure when they start, but you can plan on having dinner at one of the Boardwalk area restaurants and then ending up at the DJ.
