Which park for half day/last day?

We almost always do MK for our last half day, and I agree with all the PP's reasons in voting for that for you, too. BUT, I'd more strongly recommend consulting a crowd calendar for the specific day you're thinking of, because if another park is the most recommended for lowest crowds, you might have a better time there. Also recommend seeing what you get done during your other days & what the girls seem to be into, and then decide from there?

My favorite crowd calendar is Josh's:

We usually spend our last half day at DTD or just hanging out by the pool. But when we went with our then 5 yo we had to go to the MK and Buzz was the last ride.

Ideally, I would say to let your daughters pick what to do after they've experience the park, but dollars to donuts, they will pick MK! I say, plan your FPs for MK. If they pick another park, you can always wing it.

On our first trip, we let our daughter pick the last day park - well she picked MK and EP! Luckily, we had hoppers.

We have ended in all parks I think. My favoritie is a late night MK, say goodbye there and the last half day at AK ending with the Lion King show.

I wish I had the emotional strength to do MK on my last day. I don't though. So even though I always LONG to do MK on the last day I force myself to do AK or even *shudder* HS to "come down easy" from the Magic buzz.

We park hop, so I leave the last day open to go do whatever we want. This time taking my daughter for the first time, I've actually planned MK for the whole day just becaue I have a feeling Fantastyland will be a big hit!

Our experience?

None of the above. Been there, done that. Tried twice going to a park on our last day. By the time you get to the park, it feels like it's time to leave. Kinda stressful feeling like you need to get back in time to grab your luggage and be on the magical express...

Now, our last full day is MK. A great way to end it off with Wishes, hanging around main street, and slowly, and I mean very slowly:), making our way out.

Now we swim at the resort our last morning, or (if at POR) might take the boat to DTD that morning.

With young kids, I'd think you would want to wind up with MK.

I tend to leave for the airport from Epcot. To me, Epcot is the most predictable as far as getting to the car and leaving. (MK is the least predictable because of monorail closures, possible tram rides, etc.)

We've done a lot of different things. I think our fave was eating at 1900 Park Fare and hitting the road. Most importantly, I start mentally planning our next visit to deal with the loss and let down.

My favorite last day is Epcot, as that's when and where I shop :-)

Thanks everyone!! I have made a FP+ for MK for our last day because I think that is were we will probably end up if I leave it up to my girls! But I will be open to changing our plans if we decide to go to a different park. It's not the most recommended park on that day according to the crowd calendars, but I don't think we will really be doing a lot of rides anyway. Probably just taking in some of the shows we missed and some of the less popular attractions

Just found out that MK will be doing PM EMH on the day before our last day. Looks like we may be skipping the parks on our last day now. The kids will kill me if I don't take them to PM EMH at MK.
