We have one full day and one half day to tour both parks. We'd prefer not to park hop in hopes we will save time. Does this make sense (not park hopping) and which park would you recommend for the full day, and which for the half day?

Thanks!

It depends on what kinds of attractions you like. If you like coasters, I would say go to IOA for the day but if you don't...stick with the Studios.

There are allot more shows at the Studios so if you are into those you would want to do a longer day there since those are usually only a few times a day.

Also depends when you will be going or if you will have onsite FOTL. Even though I love coasters I can clear IOA in a half day easy usually and leave whole day for USF. Tbh I dont think I have ever spent a full day at IOA even on my first visit so that would be my suggestion on which to do for half day.

I'd say Islands of Adventure is faster to tour. The attractions for the most part last only a few minutes whereas Universal has attractions like Disaster and the shows which will take up more of your day.

Sorry - forgot to mention that we'll be there Jul 1-2 and we're staying on-site and so will have FOTLPs.

Thanks!

Since your onsite and you said you got 1 and 1/2 days then you will most likely be able to get in most of the rides or atleast the ones that you find to be your favorite :thumbsup2

FOTL helps...If I had to guess being Summer it will still be busy. If it were me I would do IOA half day and Uni full day.
