We have never been to disney and are arriving April 9th for 6 days and hope to be at the hotel by 11:00, which park to visit?

:) Thanks

It is early entry at Epcot on Friday, so you probably want to stay away from there. Animal Kingdom closes at 5pm, so you wouldn't have too much time. I would go to the Magic Kingdom! We always go there our first day because we love it so much. When arriving at a park at noon, you are likely to encounter crowds. I would spend the day getting your bearings straight and not try to do too much. Watch a couple of shows, try some rides (use fast pass) and perhaps make a priority seating at Crystal Palace. Have a magical time!

We always begin and end our trips at MK, first park we visit and last park we leave! :)

Are there special parades or fireworks in the MK that night you arrive? If so that will make the MK quite crowded. I think were you go depends on a lot of things...like if you've arriving after a long car trip, whether you have kids and their ages or the ages in your group - and what special events are on for that night at the MK and elsewhere. If it is a long drive down and with young kids I'd eat some lunch at the hotel and go for a swim and rest and then hit Epcot for the evening - and take in dinner (get a PS) and watch Illuminations. It is hard to stay away from the MK though! If you need a relaxing evening you could do the same but make the PS at the MK and just enjoy the atmosphere there and maybe pick up a FP for a popular ride. Have fun!

Magic Kingdom!!

Although your entire trip will me magical, the magic kingdom has that something special about it. Have a wonderful trip!!

I'm going to move this to the TPA&S board for you - maybe more responses there to help you decide.

We always go between MGM and MK for our first day, deciding by whatever park bus shows up first! :) At night we either do Fantasmic, or MK fireworks (Wishes), either way it is a wonderful first day and we're all excited to be there!

Happy planning!
