Which Organizations Do You Belong To?

I was just curious as to which organizations y'all belong to. I used to volunteer for the SPCA and a Scandinavian cultural group. I lasted a couple of years at each of them.

I was thinking of joining San Francisco Beautiful, an organization originally started to save the cable cars for their historical value. They are still in operation for other projects. I get the impression that they are seeking members with much deeper pockets than I have though.

We are membersof Arthrogryposis Support (its part of the condition my daughter has amcsupport.org

My husband is an Eagle Scout and he is active in m sons cub scout troop.

We are in a couple of local homeschooling groups, but only really active in 1.

We also belong to a local geocaching organization. We love geocaching.

I guess thats about it....

I've also been nominated for another board of directors position and am debating on joing a group called 40 Below here in Syracuse (a group that works to make Syracuse better comprised of community leaders below the age of 40 - FYI I'm 28).

That's it. I work for a non-profit so most of my time is spent with what I do for work, as well as as a liason for our Junior Board to boot.
