I've used Kodak Gallery in the past, but wondering if anyone who has used a company to create your own photo memory album can recommend one with great Disney themes?? Thanks!
This planning is ... sustaining me! Only 10 months and change to go:cool1:

I use creative memories, but you have to buy the program, then buy the different backgrounds. However, I got their mickey and friends pre-designed pages where you just drag and drop your pics into their already decorated page. Love it!! They are really cute.

I used Snapfish a few months back to create a Disney calendar where we added our own Disney pictures into their Disney calendar pages.

You may want to look into them to see what thye have in the way of photobooks

Have you tried Mixbook? it's an easy to use scrapbook/photobook website. They do not have disney theme but you can easily purchase some great digital disney scrapbook kits upload them to your mixbook account and make your book that way. They have a lot of click and fill options you can just add your pictures and then embellish with some great disney themed embellishments! Two of my favorite digital disney designers are
http://kellybelldesigns.blogspot.com/ (find time to sit down and just go through her blog some night. A lot of great freebies to download, also her creative team members also have great freebies)

Brittish Designs also has really great disney themed designs and freebies on her blog too.

I know I use a lot more then those two but I'm blanking on names right now.

Looks like snapfish is offering a promotion on the photo books this week also. Buy one get 2 free and they don't need to be 3 of the same. Code: love8x11

How about just using the Disney Photopass site - you can upload your own photos and the pages are very flexible and easy to customize.

I use Winkflash. Basically because during their promotions, they offer a hardback book w/a 100 pages for 19.95.

If you have a scanner, use Picaboo and then buy a pack of disney scrabook paper.

All you have to do it scan the paper in and make it be a picture, then when you select the picture click on the button to make it be for the whole background.

Works great, I did last spring.

I wish Shutterfly did because they are my go to site for photobooks.
:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 LOVE shutterfly!

What an excellent idea! One of those "why didn't I think of it earlier" moments!

Thanks for the great tips! Love those blogs!

Just wanted to post so I could find this thread when it is time to do our photobooks. Thanks.

I do my own digital scrapbook pages on a desktop publishing program. I scan everything that won't fit in a traditional scrapbook - tickets, lanyards, maps, trading pins and buttons. I print the pages on 8 1/2 by 11 photo-like paper, two sided and then take it to our local book binder for a nice customized hardcover. The binding costs about $20. The computer ink is the biggest expense. Still, this way I can make my books however I want them, then I can use the same template for future vacation books.

Adoramapix doesn't have any disney backgrounds (although as previously mentioned you can always create your own 'pictures' with Disney scrapbook kits etc.)

What they do have is lay-flat pages and real photo paper for pages which translates to clear photos no fuzzy edges! Their product is AMAZING!

I created my wedding albums with them and I am hooked! My husband bought me a new camera to facilitate a 'yearbook' each year to document our adventures!

Create an account as they frequently send email specials on their products - both the photo books, prints, and they have a camera store so camera's and other products.

Snapfish had a great background with the world that I used for the Med.

You can also use Picaboo and search their user areas and use stuff others have already uploaded ;) much easier..plus..you can use your own photos for backgrounds..I think shutterfly has this also?? plan on taking alot of scenery type pics..closeups of unusual things..then use as backgrounds.

Such great ideas. Can't wait to go play with some of these sites and prehaps make a book for our cruise last month.
