We are visiting Disney for 3 nights before our cruise in August....which vacation club resort should we book?

You didn't say what you wanted from your stay at a DVC resort, but I did notice you have stayed twice at Beach Club. Perhaps you should book it again, it's as lovely as ever. When I was there at Christmas I met several families who were taking the cruise, the same one that the President Sr, and Jeb and family went on, the Wonder, I think. Senior paid for 11 staterooms as a Christmas gift to the families, it was a big deal in Florida. BWV also had many cruise families staying there, and it's also a lovely place. We own at both resorts, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either one. Depending upon when you are going, and the ages of your kids, you might want the use of SAB. It's like having a theme park at your resort;)

I love OKW. But we are going on the cruise in May and opted to stay at BCV the 5 nights before because we might be using Disney transportation to port. If you plan on using Disney transportation be forwarned that they don't pick up at OKW. I know that they pick up at BWV too, but am not sure about WLV. They probably do pick up there, but I'm not positive.

Vero Beach. It is closest to the cruise terminal, and the relaxed atmosphere of the resort will put you in the perfect mind set for the cruise.

Vero Beach is a good idea if you have your own transportation, since Disney doesn't provide transportation from Vero to port. And I guess if you do get to Vero then you do already have transportation.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I am going to take my daughters to the parks before the cruise so I need to stay near there. Your tips have been helpful in making me decide.:D
