Which one is better - Wishes Cruise or Illuminations Cruise

We tried to book the Illuminations Cruise, but it was all booked up. So, we booked the Wishes Cruise. Is one better than the other? I haven't seen too much about the Wishes Cruise. Help?

We have done the Grand Gathering Fireworks cruise (very similiar to the regular fireworks cruise) and really enjoyed it. We have also done an Illuminations cruise which we also really enjoyed. Both are an wonderful way to see the fireworks from another atmosphere. You will have a great time.....enjoy it and do not worry about not getting the Illuminations Cruise.

We just did the Wishes Cruise on 2/4 and we had a fantastic time! I have never done an Illuminations cruise so I cannot compare - but we enjoyed our cruise and felt it was worth the $$ spent.

We had dinner at 'Ohana and then just made out way out to the Poly dock to pay and meet the driver. It was very chilly so the driver had plenty of blankets for us (FYI - our boat allowed 10-12 people we opted to go only with the 5 of us - we had the large pontoon boat) They also had a basket with bags of chips and popcorn and a cooler full of soda. (We were way too full to indulge)

First we started out by waiting by the Electrical Water Parade thing and watched that in front of the GF - then we made our way over to the WL and FW - tooled around there- went back in front of MK and waited for the fireworks to begin. The driver gave us some facts about WDW (Most of which I knew already.... LOL) - overall it was a very nice experience and she was wonderfully patient with our little kids.

We would definitely do this one again

We did the Wishes cruise in September. It was one of the highlights of our September trip....our kids loved it, and so did my wife and myself...so much so that I just booked again for April.
