We have a choice! Which of these would be more relaxing? Both choices begin on first of September: 5 nights WLV 3nights cruise then back to WLV for 5 nights - paying cash for the kids on the cruise; or 8nights WLV then 3 nights Vero? Does anybody have a rough idea of what the kids price would be for the cruise? Thanks.

Am just getting used to the points system. By the way, we are using the 200 we unwittingly put into II next year and borrowing points from next year for our September trip!

IMHO, scenario #2 would be more relaxing (though both are awesome).

In that scenario, you only move once. And you go from a laid back haven at WDW to a very relaxing sea side resort. Can't beat that if relaxing is your aim!

I'm afraid I don't know the cruise point information for you. :(

My book from the Disney Cruise Line just says children (ages 3 - 12) pay $299 to $699, when accompanied by 2 paying full price. It doesn't show the difference between categories of rooms.

If you are talking about points, chidren (3 to 17) pay 30 after 9/12 and 50 until 9/5.

Scenario #1 sounds good to me. Then again I have never been to Vero. Whatever you choose, you can't loose! Have fun.

I have never been to Vero either but I will tell you that the cruise is fabulous. Will you have a car with you? Because that might take away some of the hassle of moving. Either way, it sounds like a great trip. I don't know how you are going to decide with options like that! Isn't DVC great?

If you want to relax, then Vero is it. There is nothing to do around the resort. You can walk up a way on the beach and get away from the crowd. I think Sept. is low time then anyway. We wen't last year w/o kids and sat by the pool and beach near everyone and we still were very relaxed. VWL is one of the more relaxing resorts at WDW, but I have a hard time kicking back at WDW, even when I mean to. I have this urge to go do it all and see it all.

Scenario 1 sounds pretty nice. It is like you are going on a ride for three days in the middle of your WLV stay. I personally think the 3 days at Vero won't be long enough to be relaxing, it is too quick a visit, but that's just my take. We stay there 5+ days for a wonderful time to reconnect with the family. Of course, our kids are small, and the beach & pool works wonders for them and us.

What a great decision to get to make. Enjoy.
