IF THE COST WAS EXACTLY THE SAME (which it will be to us because of husband's company paying part of the costs), which one of these two options would you choose?? We are so undecided!!

A. Stay at Coronado Springs for 7 nights and then Pop Century for 5 nights with 10 day MYW base tickets - no extra options on the tickets.

or

B. Stay at Pop Century the entire time with 10 day MYW tickets with park hopping and water park options added.

Please help us figure this out!

Are there kids with you, or just you and DH? How old are the (possible) kids? I'm just thinking that mine are too young for the water parks, so there is no incentive there. And mine are young enough for us to want to stay as close as possible on our days in the parks, so we are doing a split stay with WL on the days we are going to be in the parks.

I would do the Pop/CSR split stay, just make sure you stay at Pop first. (much easier to go up than down)

why?
12 days in a value room might make you a little crazy, especially if you are a family with kids packed in there for the week

with that much time at WDW, you'll want some downtime in the resort---the CSR has a really nice pool and resort feel

with a 10 day ticket plus water parks you won't really get full days out of those tickets w/o adding non-expiration, which adds to the cost

if you want to do something extra, try miniature golf--supposed to be a lot of fun there (we're trying it in May), or rent a mouseboat for an hour

JMHO of course!

I would have to do CRS and Pop, so much to see and do at the major parks and DTD as well as the resorts that you won't miss the water parks. Especially since CRS is arguably one of the best pools onsite. If you did decide to do a water park or Disney quest you could just puchase a one day admission as needed.

I would second the suggestion of starting out at Pop and moving to CRS.

The only other thing I would consider is adding the park hopper option to the tickets ($40.00 per ticket), although you can just add this on during your stay if you find you need it.

Have fun - great problem huh?

I would stay CSR/POP, but can you change the order? I rather go value to mod than mod to value. You may really miss some of the xtras from CSR if you end your stay @ POP.

I would do A because I can't stand the value resorts--too small & too loud (paper thin walls) for my taste. I would start at the value and move up to the mod. It's easier to go up than down & ends your vacation with a nicer feel; in the beginning you just never care about things.

The only thing I like about choice B is the park hopper. Water parks just isn't a big deal to me at Disney. We've got great parks here that are more child friendly than WDW water parks. And you do have a pool at the resort. Anyhow, we love to park hop. But, I'd sacarfice that for the better digs. Regardless of how little time you spend at the hotel, when there, you want to be comfortable.
