Which of the categories have the super tiny verandahs on the Dream/Fantasy?

I can't remember where I saw it but I saw a picture of a very tiny verandah with no room for a chair for a cabin on the Dream or Fantasy. I am trying to avoid choosing one of these rooms but after looking at the special rooms thread, the net and pictures I can't figure out which cabin category those belong to. Anyone know?

I always thought they were upper aft, next to the corners, on one deck???
I saw a picture/video once. Never found it again though.

Oh well, that's too bad. I loved my cat 7A on the Wonder but I would be very disappointed in a tiny verandah. The cruise I am interested has the cat 7As in GTY status. I'm sure I'd end up with one. So I guess it's anything but that cat. Thanks! :)

I just booked a category 6b room which is the whitewall verandah, not the plexiglass...it was the cheapest room with verandah I could find on the Dream. I dont know what any of this means as I am a first time DCL'er, but thought it may help you.

Found the info not the photos. On Dream Class it is 5688 and 5188. Those cabins have tiny angled verandas. Category 7a.

Thank you!!! That really helps. Hopefully I can find one a 7A trip that's not in GTY stays and avoid those cabins.

Yeah, I would be one unhappy sailor if I got stuck with that veranda. DCL should save those for crew or *GT folks IMHO.

They should have made those secret porthole rooms. You can't even step out on that verandah safely IMO.

Oh, you CAN safely step out there and you can get a great view of docking and Mickey (or Dumbo) and the wake and for extra fun the hose and water as they clean the back of the ship (:crazy2:) but if you think you are going to sit, relalx and enjoy the view on the straight backed bench, FORGET IT! :rotfl:

So these (in the video) are aft balconies? We are booked on the Fantasy in a 7a: 8022. From what I have read, this balcony has only a tiny obstruction and the price was about $600.00 less than a regular verandah. Anyone been in this cabin on The Dream or Fantasy?

We are also book on the Fantasy in cabin 8022. Does any one have a photo that they would like to share?

Thanks!
