Just bought the Scrubbing Bubbles one, its OK, but not like my OLD toilet brush!:o

Well, no one answered you, so I guess you are the only Dis'er who cleans her toilet bowl!! LOL...:p

I've yet to buy one of the new ones, I'm resistant to change...no just kidding, my old brush works well enough, but might be tempted to try one of the new ones.:D

I've used both the scrubbing bubbles one and the chlorox one. I like that you can flush the scrubbing bubbles, but the chlorox one's work better for the actual cleaning.

Both are better than the old alternative! ::yes::

I've tried a Lysol one (at least I think that is what it was.... ) Let's just say, I didn't like it b/c it squirted all over me instead of the toilet. You have to insert a canister of cleaner into a plastic thingy and push down. Of course, it probably didn't work b/c I am mechanically challenged (yes, I can't even get a toilet cleaner to operate properly.)

Anyways, I just tried the clorox one the other day and it worked great!

:sunny:

When I decide to move into the new century and stop resisting change, the Clorox one is probably the one I will try..:p

Tried the scrubbing bubbles one. I didnt' care for it too much. I have decided to stick to cleaning the toilet the way my mom did it. Make my daughter do it. :D

Just kidding, I prefer a regular toilet brush and cleaner.

No one answered me, because I am IGNORED a lot on these boards.........or this was posted before........or no-one cleans thier toilet.....or I was ignored......... Thanks to those who responded anyway.:o

Nope - no ignoring here, this is the first I've seen of the thread.;)

I was curious, because I've considered getting a new fangled brush too. I kind of like the idea of flushing the brush head - but I'm pretty content using the old fashioned brush too. Heck, I've been doing it for this long and haven't caught any outlandish diseases with "all those yucky germs" hanging around.:p

I got two of the new fangled ones for free with rebates/coupons.. they weren't that great. One fell off in pieces, and one was better.

I can't remember which one I used.

I got one free with a coupon. I think it was the Scrubbing Bubbles one- the one you can flush. I did not like it. The cleaner head is made of soft material that you can't scrub with. I went back to a regular toilet brush and cleaner. I think that the regular old way is cheaper too.

I didn't ignore anyone. I just don't use a new fangled thingy.

Now that there are a few replies I had to see what everyone liked.
It sounds like I'll stick with the old way for a while. :)

I love the Lysol one. I hate the scrubbing bubbles one. It clogged up my toilet and I don't think it's very sanitary.

I had to ask my 18 yr old daughter. She is the one that keeps me up on the new inventions. :p
She says we have the clorox one but she wants to try the scrubble bubble one but she said she will not be throwing it down the toilet. Since she does most of the cleaning I buy whatever cleaning product she wants. :p

I've used the Scrubbing Bubbles one and don't like it. I was attracted to it by the idea of flushing the cleaning head. As someone else pointed out it is soft and not condusive to scrubbing.

May have to try the Chlorox one now that a few others have indicated they like it. They do appear more substantial and I think you throw away the cleaning head. Right?

I just hate having that nasty ol' brush sitting in the corner so I'm definitely looking for an alternative.

Don't feel bad:( ....I have a penchent for being a thread-killer....so you got lucky this time and LOTS of follow-ups....:p Interesting thoughts on the "new" models....think I may just stick with the old-fashioned brush...:D

I think I will go back to "the old fashioned brush" myself, wasn't impressed with the Scrubbing Bubbles one at all.:o I had a coupon too, buy one, get one free!:p

I use the scrubbing bubbles one (flushable) and love it. It has a nice scent and cleans well. You just have to know how to work it. LOL

The toilet bowl sparkles. The cleansing pad completely shreds up when left in the water ( I eject it into the bowl and leave it there for several minutes) so I haven't had trouble flushing it. I even went and got a second one for another bathroom. Scrubbing bubbles has bathroom cleaning disposable cloths that I want to try as well.
