Which Moderate?

Can someone please recommend which moderate is the best in terms of atmosphere for a family of four with a 6 and 16 year old?

I would recommend Coronado Springs Resort. Check out my CSR website below for reasons why.

There are all very similar as far as rooms, amenities, transportation, so it all depends on what kind of themeing your family likes. Caribbean Beach (name speaks for itself); Coronado Springs (Southwest/Mexico); Port Orleans Riverside (old south). My favorite is Coronado Springs and I think the consensus would be that CSR has the best pool. If you plan on spending much time at Downtown Disney, PO is nice since there's a boat to DTD.

You can't go wrong with any of them. I have stayed at CSR, CBR, and POR. Our favorite is CBR. CSR has the largest pool but we really like the location of the main pool to the food court. Also we like the theming better at CBR.

The food court at CBR is newly refurbished also. You can check out the pictures on my web sites. Also there is a CBR FAQ thread that should help with any questions you might have at CBR.

They all have the same amenities, but Port Orleans has the advantage of the boat that takes you directly to DD. A nice way to spend some time after a day in the parks and you don't have to worry about getting a bus or finding a parking spot.

We have stayed at CBR and DL (PORS) and loved them both. We are staying at CSR in Sept. and are looking forward to it. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. It just depends on what theme you are more in the mood for. Good luck on your decision.

WE love both CBR and CSR but my vote is for CSR! Just an amazing resort with a lot of added benefits that other mods don't have.

I like POR, but then i am partial to the southern them.
Plus POR has 6 pools, and as stated in the other posts the boat to DD is great, very peaceful after a long day at the parks.

I've stayed at all 3 once, I'd say it's a close tie between CBR and POR. Didn't care for CSR. Staying at CBR again in October, trying out the rehabbed rooms and food court.
