We are planning a trip in June and can't decide which resort to stay in. Our boys are 4 and 7. I had knee surgery within the last year, so I don't want a really long walk to the bus. Please help!!

I booked POFQ for a weeek in November. My girls will be 4 &6. After a long day at the parks I didn't want them to walk too far or us carry them. My 6 year old is so excited to go down the slide they have in the pool.
It sounds like a good choice for you. From what I read the compact size would be perfect.
Have fun!

We loved POR (stayed in the AB section, building 38). It was nearby a bus stop and a quiet pool and laundry room.

POFQ is the smallest, so for the walking distance around the resort, this may be your best bet. Of course, you can get a room right next to the bus stop at another moderate, but that isnt guaranteed. I also think this would be a good resort for your age children; we walked around it when we stayed at POR a few years ago. It is more colorful and the water slide looks cool for little kids. One of my favorite things about PO was the boat/proximity to DTD.

I guess I'll be the voice of minority. I stayed with my children at the CBR at that age. I love it and we've stayed there several times. We alsays stay in the preferred area next to the food court and it is so worth it. The resort is calm and peaceful and I think that you would enjoy it. That being said, we've also stay at CS and it is beautful also. I think the walk is worse for CS than CBR, but WOW, both resorts are incredible.

:thumbsup2 We always stay at CBR. Our kids are 5 & 8. We love it there. I would request a bottom floor room in Martinique. It is close to everything. It is especially close to OPR where you would go for snacks and drinks, and close to the main pool with water slide. There are many bus stops, all close. My DH also has severe knee problems, and that is always our choice for hotel.

My 2 are the same age, we stayed at Coronado Springs this past weekend for the first time, loved it. The pool area (THe Dig) is wonderful. If you can, request a Casita, you'll be near bus stop #2 (which is the first stop). THey also have the golf-cart shuttles that will take you around is needed.
