Hello Everyone,

I am hoping you all can give me some pointers for our next trip. It is never too early to start researching and saving up!;)

We are wanting to stay at a Mod Resort. I will be researching these boards HEAVILY to help in the decision.

Which Mod would you choose for us and why? Let me tell you about us....

DH is a rocker at heart and loves thrills. He is always doing something and hardly sits still. He loves the theming of AKL-(too much $$ right now).

My DS (3.5 right now) is just like his Dad. He is HIGH energy and loves to have fun.:yay: (we are staying at the Pop in sept:thumbsup2 ). He loves Nemo-right now anyway-and anything regarding the sea/water. He also loves all kinds of animals and being outdoors.

Then, there is me. Polar opposite. I can curl up with a good book all day long and be by myself. I grew up in the country and my favorite park is AK.

Any advice you have for us will be GREATLY appreciated.:)

We love CSR for many reasons and I think your DH and DS would love it for the fitness center, the volleyball court, the playground, the arcade and the pool. And you would love it for the hammock where you could curl up and read that book.

However, my suggestion is that you take an afternoon and go and visit each of the moderates and walk around the pool areas, the food courts, etc., and see which one appeals to you. You will get a variety of responses on this question (there have been many, many similar posts in the last couple of weeks).

The hammock sounds GREAT! Thanks! I have just started thinking about our next trip so I will peruse the boards and gather from the other posts.:thumbsup2

CSR definitely

Thanks!

Here is another thread posted yesterday asking the same question as you.

Thank you for the link! I am looking forward to doing the research and visiting some of the resorts while there in Sept.

Any of the PO resorts. We especially like POFQ, but we like the laid back feel of it. However, there are boats to rent, pools to use, and short walks to either resort- so there's a lot to explore!!!:wizard:

As posted above, CBR has renovated some of their rooms with Nemo. Also CBR is currently refurbishing their pool and it will have a pirate theme. Looks neat, photos and info in the CBR FAQ.

If your DS will be 4 at the time of your trip, he can do the Caribbean Pirate Adventure cruise.

For your DH, there are bike rentals and boat rentals for the lake.

I like laid back - for myself especially;) . That may be what "I" need during the trip with my two go getters.

CBR is refurbing some rooms with a Nemo theme!

How COOL is that?! I am really looking forward to exploring my options!

The pirate theme would be right up our alley. Do you know when the pool will be finished? I would love to see it during our upcoming trip. And, the cruise sounds awesome too. OH-the research! What fun!!:yay:

Thank you for your input everyone!!
