which mod do you prefer?

Wondering which moderate is everyone's favorite? We really love PO-RS, but interested in maybe trying something different.

I absolutly love Coronado, if I had the choice I would stay at WL and AK first, then Coronado, the theming is just so well done, and its a beautifully laid out resort.

Im thinking about trying Port Orleans Riverside this coming January, possibly coupled with WL (determines our budget at the time) just to try something different as will be staying at Coronado next summer. I like the look of Alligator Bayou would it be pretty easy you think to get 1st floor Alligator Bayou near the main building? (I think building 14)

We have never gotten that section of AB we have been in 37, 35, and last 38. Also been in Oak manor twice, and Partee' place. My personal favorite is the inside of the AB rooms (they will make WL a disappointment) & the outside of the mansion buildings.

Which buildings have you tried at CSR? We are considering the Rancheros? I know seems cabana's are favored but we like the look of this section. What do you think of the pepper market in contrast to the way the other's are run?

The Pepper Market is either a love it or hate it place. We love it but some folks just don't care for it.

Convention resort - some guests don't like seeing other guests at work. Doesn't bother us and helps keep the buses empty. GF, Cont, BW, Y & B Club are also convention resorts.

My vote is for CSR, just look at how beautiful this resort is, and if you have not had a chance you should check out Buzz2001 web site on CSR.

I've stayed at CBR, POR, and POFQ. POFQ is my favorite. I prefer its smaller size and also enjoy walking through the gardens and courtyards. The only downside to POFQ is that it no longer has a full service restaurant, however POR next door does. I'll be there in almost two weeks!

My opinion:

1. POFQ
2. CS a very close first
3. POR, a very distant 3rd place.
4. CB, a yucky old moderate that they went cheap on. Why bother when you have three much better moderates.

Wow, thanks for the info! I am really leaning towards CSR. We do love PORS. But have stayed here many times and recently last march. Have never stayed FQ but really does not appeal to us. I prefer a resturant. And it has only 1 pool. The compactness is not necessarly a plus for us. We are 2 sisters no kids. CBR we stayed in back when it opened and it was ok then but since we are doing the disney cruise don't really need the caribbean flare twice. CSR would be a 1st for us we need somewhere for just a couple of days before the cruise and wanted something new to try out. I did not know they had full room service? That is a major selling point. Like the look of the ranchero's section too, even if it is the farthest away. The new transportantion setup shows they are working on there problems. Convention people don't bother us as long as they don't stand outside the main doors blocking the entrances smoking between their meetings.

I would suggest to open those links. There's tons of great infos on each of those resorts. The Pros and Cons of each resorts. You will also notice that every each poll tally is very different.

As for me... I LOVE POFQ!!

Our preference is POFQ for the cozy romantic feel and boat access to DTD.

You know its funny I have stayed at Coronado twice and I THINK they where both in the Casitas, didn't mind it though,as the walk is so beautiful. (love the bridge with the string lights!) Pepper Market is something very different, its got its pluses as there are several options, all good food, but its just different. I liked it, some people I know on here don't its a personal choice.

Before I started reading this board I never knew about requesting views, building #'s etc, and now that I have it made our last vacation to Disney much better.
