Which MK character meets need FP?

Going in early May 2018, staying at Poly and having several MK days or parts of days. 4 preschoolers in the group. We plan to go to CRT and TH...possibly 1900 Park Fare dinner and 'Ohana breakfast so will meet some characters there.

I don't want to needlessly waste FP on character meets with rides being a priority. But are there some meet and greets with typically long waits that I should consider for FP? Should we plan one of our RD mornings to head quickly to Town Square or elsewhere for characters?

It depends on how important the meets are to you. We had a DD 4 so we really wanted to make sure we did the princess meets. If you go at Rope Drop and go to the princesses first thing you won't need to use your FP. You can save it for the really popular rides.

We didn't FP any character meets prior to our trip - but then while on our vacation I decided to make FP's for each character I could so I could record birthday messages for my niece. The longest wait throughout our trip in Sept was for talking Mickey. It took me a few days to snag 2 FP. Without FP the waits weren't horrible for the princesses. 35 mins was an approx average.

As one of the PPs said, it all depends on how important it is meeting specific princesses.

There was one that my daughter had to meet, so we used a FP to meet that princess.
