My girls want to eat with the Pooh characters, so we have decided to do Crystal Palace. Which meal do you recommend?

We have had lunch at CP twice it was great, a nice break from the park. The food was good & so was the Char interaction. I can not compare it to the other meals, sorry.

I've dined here all 3 meals and have always been happy. If I had to choose, I would probably recommend an early lunch seating.

I didn't really care for lunch here but breakfast was great! If you can go on a non early entry day, make as early a ps as possible (8:05am) and they will let you in to the MK before it opens. Have breakfast at CP and you will be finished in plenty of time when the park opens at 9:00. We did this and there were no lines at all in Fantasyland. We did all of Fantasyland by 10:00 and were the first in line at the rope drop at 10:00 for Mickey's Toontown. It's a wonderful plan......trust me.

Can I ask why you don't like lunch here? Is it the food or do you just prefer the breakfast idea? We did CRT on an early entry day. NOT a good idea.

we did lunch there

food was decent...character interaction was good

We ate lunch there last year and it was really good. It was a nice afternoon break. We are doing lunch at CP again this year.

I just didn't care for the food at lunch and I'm not usually a picky eater. My DH didn't like it either and he'll eat anything. Maybe it was just a bad day because I've read so many good reviews here about lunch. I thought the food seemed to be dry. The breakfast was fresh though and had a lot of different offerings. The breakfast lasagna is delicious!! It's made like a bread pudding with fresh berries.

We did the breakfast last week with friends and their 7 month son. Had a ball!!! The nice thing is all of the Pooh characters came to the table one by one and hung around for a long time.
If you do go for breakfast, try the Breakfast Lasagna!! I know it sounds gross, and looks alittle weird, but it's actually bread pudding with fresh fruit (berries and bananas). Oh...I loved it! ::MickeyMo

Hi :wave2:

We had breakfast and lunch here and enjoyed both. If you go for breakfast the puffed french toast are a MUST!!! ::yes::

If this is the same as Cinderellas Breakfast, why was it NOT a good idea on an early entry day? How exactly does that work/effect the breakfast? Would you do it again on a non-early entry day?

TIA - moopdog

We did a late breakfast on an early entry day and were very satisfied. I thought it was one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever had. My DD was a big Pooh fan at the time, and this was one of the few places that has Piglet. I loved the breakfast lasagne and all of the selections and character interactions were exceelent. We were tired doing an EE after MNSSHP the night before, but the Crystal Palace was good. Unfortunately (sigh) my DD is now a full-fleged teen-ager and we will probably limit our character meals on our upcoming May trip.

Breakfast is a must do for us. In fact when we were there last month, we had breakfast at CP twice. I LOVE the puffed french toast and my DH is a breakfast lasagna fan.

We had dinner and really enjoyed it. We liked it alot better than Chef Mickey's. The character interaction was great. Plan on trying breakfast next time.

We did dinner there in Jan and really enjoyed it. My GD and son both enjoyed it more than Chef Mickey's (we had gone to on our first night) and CRT (we had gone to that morning). The character interaction was the best we had the entire trip. We saw some of the character twice and they spent lots of time with us. We had a young couple sitting next to us that didn't have any kids and they got just as much attention as the kids. It was great!!

I'm going back in May for a solo trip and had decided to try all new places to eat. I did not want to eat anyplace we had eaten in Jan. I had fun planning my PS, but quess what? I had to go back to CP. Only thing is I'm going for breakfast on my last day (not dinner this time). :cool1:

I'm an Eeyore fan, so DW and I had to go to the CP. We find that the breakfast is a must... nice selection, very filling, and great character interaction. In addition, it's a relative bargain as far as in-park dining goes.

Just my $0.02.
