Which restaurant near or in the Magic Kingdom would you recommend for dinner and why? I'm doing a solo trip and am a picky eater. I plan on doing Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch one day and the Crystal Palace for dinner.

For TS I would do LTT (I see you're doing it for lunch) and CS I would do Cosmic Rays. We love the chicken/rib combo. :goodvibes

1900 Park Fare has the most delicious buffet!! I enjoyed it SO much! If you go there be sure to pre-order an awesome dessert :)

I picked WCC. You can enjoy the boat ride over from the MK, wander around that beautiful WL lobby, go outside and look at the geyser, eat at WCC (enjoying all the antics), then wander outside to the dock and watch the Electrical Water Pageant. Be sure to ask to sit in the main area at WCC requesting a waitress that's really into the antics.

FYI: When we were there Jan 05 the waitress tried to set my 27 y/o son up with a couple of young ladies at a neighboring table. It was hilarious!

Based on the choices in your poll I chose 1900 PF, but we are dying to try Kona. Have you considered that. I have read so many positive reviews of this place.

I thought dessert came with the buffet. What is the pre-order?

Yes, there is a dessert buffet but if you eat at one of the GF restaurants, you can order a specialty dessert (extra charge) like the Cinderella Slipper or the dog bones.

By the looks of the poll, alot of you voted for the 1900. Who are the characters at this meal? Can you request a table in the main dining room, versus the area tucked off to the side?

1900 Park Fare gets my vote . The food for a buffet was excellent. Very, very good. :thumbsup2

Shouldn't think about it when I'm hungry! :rotfl:

I've always loved Tony's! It's just perfect :sunny:

looking forward to going to 1900 for the first time to this summer. It sounds great!
