Which loop?

We will be camping at the Fort in Nov. Our camper is a 38' 5th wheel with three slide outs. I requested a premium, pet friendly loop when I booked. We would really like to have a loop not sandwiched in with the one next to it. You know, a little elbow room. This is our first trip to Disney and I am a complete newbie at this (so thank you in advance). Is it possible to call the Fort and request a certain loop before we go in Nov? Or are we at the whim of check-in and will get what we get? We don't mind driving to the parks but we will have golf carts to get around. We just want a quiet, pretty loop.

Congrats! You will love the Fort. Your premium camp sites are a little more private then your preferred. My husband loves private. We have a large motorhome and have preferred Qual Trail, and Jack Rabbit Run. The 700 loop, sunny safe way, is close to the boats but IMO not as secluded. We have in the recent past (2013) been assigned a premium camp site. And liked the space across from us. We called the front desk and wholla. This time of year stay away from large overhead trees that crowd your site. Little purple berries drop and do a number on your roofs and pavement. Also not edible for dogs.

You can call anytime and request a loop. No promises but usually we receive our request. Depending on how much time you spend at the parks when you return to the Fort we have never felt crowded (tired and happy to shower and relax). Just us. Premium is our first choice and full our second. Have a wonderful first experience.

Thank you so much for your replies. My husband and I watched some videos on youtube of the loops you recommended and it helped so much. I was able to call Disney and they listed the ones we liked. I was told to call back 5 days before we are to arrive and see which loop we get. Again thanks for the comments! We are too excited!!
