We are planning our transportation to Disney resort and back and need to stop at a grocery store. We are going on a cruise in between our stay in Disney, and the hotel we stay at afterwards may not be a Disney hotel. Anyone have good experiences with any of the listed limo services that will also stop for groceries? Thanks! :dance3:  :littleangel: princess:

We've used Tiffany Town Car for 5 of our WDW trips (first trip we made what turned out to be a mistake for us, using what is now called DME). We love Tiffany -- cannot say enough good things about them -- and they do the grocery stop deal.

I agree with the pp..We have used Tiffany each time we have gone on DCL and have had a great experience with them...Our drivers name was Max (we lucked out the first time, and requested him the other two :)) Don't know if he still works there but he was great:thumbsup2

Have a great time on your trip!

Another vote for Tiffany Town Car. I've only used them once, a couple of years ago, but they were ontime, vehicle was sparkling clean in and out and our driver was very nice. We also did the grocery stop.

Hi! We have used all 3. Never had any real problems with any of them. However, we have used Florida Tours for the last 2-3 years. Their cars are VERY clean. Last time we used Tiffany, the car smelled of smoke & was not very clean. Although this was at least 2 years ago. All 3 on time with courteous drivers. We do find Florida Tours drivers to be very friendly & personable, too. I also like the idea of patronizing a DisBoard sponser.:)

I have used FLTours twice and had very positive experiences. Plan to use them in a few weeks again. Driver was prompt and courteous, and sedan was very clean and comfortable.

Another vote for Tiffany. We have used them 7 times between 2001 and now and always been very impressed. Clean cars, courteous drivers, always on time or early, have handled picking up otehr family or friends at orehr resorts without a hitch, handeled our delayed and overbooked (we ended up comming in the next day on Thanksgiving afternoon) flights easily, always found us good grocery or liquor store stops as requested, etc.
We tried Happy Limo once andhad multiple big problems. We decided to stick with what we knew worked after that.

In 2008, we used FL Tours and were very happy with the service. Driver was on time and courteous. Grocery stop was done as promised without a problem. Car was clean and neat. We used them from MCO to the Dolphin and if I remember correctly the rate was $109 round trip (party of four).

This trip in July of 2010, I called them again as I had a positive experience in 2008. I could never get anyone on the phone when I called, always got the machine. When I did finally decide to leave a message at approx. 6 pm in the evening, I got a return call at 10 pm. While four hours is great...I thought 10 pm was a little late to call me back and I would have preferred a callback the next day....but I didn't say in my voicemail not to call me back after a certain hour...so I quickly let this go.

I described our trip.....which is MCO to RPR, then RPR to Dolphin, then Dolphin to MCO. I got a quote of $199. I found this to be on the high side since round trip was $124. (party of five). When I asked about this I was told that the home base is the airport and even though we are being picked up at RPR and going to the Dolphin the driver is coming from MCO, so the mileage and tolls all had to be figured in. I told the gentleman that I had to think about it and would be shopping around. He told me he'd take $10 off the cost, so $189. I thanked him and told him I would call him back.

I then called (the next morning) Tiffany Town Car, based on all of the positive reviews on this board. I got a live person as soon as I called and was quoted $165 for my trip. So, I booked with them.

I did use Tiffany Town Car about five years ago and had a pleasant experience as well...we booked a limo for a round trip. But in 2008, I used FL Tours to support a sponsor of this board.

I hope this helps you.

We used Happy Limo and had a great experience. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the suggestions here.

I used the limo service from Mears to the airport one year and it was great. My husband had to fly back early because one of his colleagues had passed away, so he took the rental car back to the airport. I was very nervous with two young kids...called Mears and everything went sooo smoothly. At the time, about 4 years ago I thought the price was reasonable....But I can't remember how much. Sorry.

We used FL Tours a few years ago and they were excellent. They were at the airport waiting when we arrived. We were staying at the Swan so we couldn't do ME. They handled all of our luggage and were really nice. They offered to stop at a grocery store but we declined. Good luck!

We have used FL Tours before, this time trying Tiffany.I have 3 trips with them in total during our stay.
FL in the past have asked that I pay for all 3 trips upfront to the driver of the first trip,I then tipped each driver 20% or so of each trip value.
Tiffany asks to pay 20% of the total bill as gratutiy to the first driver.
I'm sure they must share the tips out, what happens if I have different drivers on trips 2 & 3.I will feel like I'm not tipping them ?

We just used FL Tours from our MCO-WDW-Port-MCO trip last week; and it was great. They were waiting for us; very nice drivers; clean cars. Got a grocery stop.

I paid in advance; then tipped each driver in cash at each leg of the journey.

I think all three have very good reps on this board, I doubt you could go wrong with any of them.

We've used Happy Limo to PC several times and will be using them again in Nov. 3 out of 4 times we were given a free upgrade. Always a clean vehicle and driver was polite & punctual.
They include a free grocery stop.

:thumbsup2 We have only used Tiffany, at least 7 times. This will be #8 in 2 weeks. He answered the phone right away night before last (little after 7p.m.) and was very nice. He always is...I have an unusual name and he recognized it right away. He said, " Oh!! I remember you". He could have faked it but I loved it all the same. I requested Waseem. He was our driver in October. We arrived after 10 p.m. He took us by the Hess station for a few staples. We did not realize that the Publix closes early and he told us the Goodings was expensive. They have always been patient and right on time. Only one time did a driver get a little careless and he no longer works for them.

The guy with reservations was nice he told me they would be picking us up a few minutes early so we would have time for security since we are flying home Mother's Day. When I called last year I left a message and they called me the following day, but I had called later in the evening.

Our other family members have always had great experiences as well. When we flew in within 10-15 minutes of each other, they were happy to wait on both parties.

I don't think Mears offers a complimentary grocery stop.

I'm glad you found transportation that meets your needs. You couldn't have used a service which is now called DME. You either used DME or you didn't. The service never went by a different name.
