Which lenses to take for DCL and MK?

Hi there,

We are doing 3 nights on DCL and then 1.5 days at the MK including the Christmas party event. Just wondering what lenses should I take? I have the Olympus OMD and E-PM1 and will likely bring both with me on the trip.

Here is what I plan on taking so far....

OMD:
- 25mm/1.4 --> for the night time parade
- 14-150mm --> for daytime walkaround

E-PM1
- 20mm --> as a compact ready to shoot

I don't see any need to take the 45mm lens? But would it be useful at character breakfasts?

I also have the 14mm + wide angle adapter. Would that come in useful to pair with my E-PM1 for some shots?

I don't see any use for the 7.5mm fisheye, anyone?

Thanks!!!

With the m4/3's 2x crop factor, I would think 90mm is too much when you try to take pictures of a character standing on the other side of your table, 5'-6' away. Character meals have fairly poor lighting, you'd probably be at ISO 800 or so on your zoom lens, so you might want a faster lens if you want a lower ISO.

On the other hand, with 2 body's the 45 might work well during the parade on the ePM1.
Because there are so many people at Disney (making it difficult to step back and frame a shot) there are a number of fisheye fans: Id look through this thread to see if it interests you:

Nice setup! I really want an OM-5, but I am trying to wait to see what Olympus announces after the first of the year.

I'm going on DCL in January. Plan on taking:

14-140 for walk around use
20mm for the speed
7-14mm because I love the wide angles!
