I am by no means an expert in any way when it comes to taking pictures.

I will have my 24-70 2.8 vc tamron, 35mm 1.4 prime canon and 55-250 canon as well.

I was trying to figure out what lens I need for certain rides. I would like to only take two lens with me to each park.

Here are the rides I am not sure of:

MK
Pirates
Jungle Cruise (day and night)
Enchanted Tales with Belle
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain (this one might be hard)
Small World
Peter Pan
Tiki Room
Haunted Mansion (Can you get decent pictures inside?)

Castle with group picture
Character Meet and Greets

AK
Safari (expect the answer to be telephoto)

Tree of Life (best lens for this one with group)
Character Meet and Greets

HS
Indiana Jones
Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
Disney Junior
Pirates
Great Movie Ride
Backstage Lot (is this still open)

EP
Ellen's
Nemo

Dark rides I would use your 35mm f/1.8

Coasters I would select which ever one focuses faster out of your 35 and 24-70. I use my manual fisheye on the coasters and don't have to worry about my camera trying to focus at all and that helps a ton while getting whipped around on the coasters lol.

I agree that 35mm is a good focal length for dark rides. There are some photos on my blog post for today if you want to check out some initial snapshots with my 35mm f/1.4.

Haunted Mansion is a dark ride in a class by itself, though. Focusing is a big issue, so you may want to go manual to avoid the focus hunting in a dark room. Sometimes the doom buggy jerks away before your auto-focus can lock onto a subject, so manual lets you react faster.

One of the shots on my blog post was at ISO 25,600 at f/1.4. Gave me a 1/80th second shutter speed. Noisy, but not as bad as I expected.

No great art on the post today, but it shows you some of the shots out of camera and what's feasible.
