Which Keurig?

I am looking at getting a Keurig coffee maker, but then went to Amazon to look and there are a handful of models??
Any input?

We've had the platinum for about a year and they are great. By getting the basket for it you're not locked in to just using K cups. Helps keepy the cost down. The best part is no more wasted coffee and if you like yours really hot like I do this will do it for you. You can set the temp where you want. My Sister-in-law has the Keurig that is just a little smaller I think it has 3 cup sizes, the platinum has 5 sizes.

We have the 3 cup size one. It is great. We just got the catalog from green mountain coffee co (where you can order the kcups) and they had a really cute red one on the cover. I think it was just one cup size though. Keurig is great though. I used to hate throwing away and wasting coffee. And now I can have my vanilla or southern pecan flavored coffee when my DH has his dark roast...

Do the models #s B30, B40, B60, B70 match any of these recommendations?

We have the B60 Special Edition. 3 cup size. There isn't much difference between that and the larger and more expensive B70 model. The main difference is that you can run the water through cold to do iced tea or iced coffee.

I work at Bed Bath and Beyond and the B60 is by far the most popular model. The mini is nice for a second machine or for travelling, but the one cup size and no reservoir are a huge drawback in my opinion.

My Mom bought me the mini for Christmas, I am afraid that I will be disappointed by the size, but heck happy to have one lol. I have never owned a coffee maker, so maybe I wont miss the bigger size. I can always upgrade if I decide I love it and need a bigger size.

My mom has the mini - with no reservoir. She doesn't like ours because she thinks the water gets 'stale.' No one else complains and it isn't in there for that long. DH drinks a lot of coffee. She doesn't mind adding water each time she wants a cup. My dad sometimes thinks the coffee is too strong but DH likes the really dark roasts and I think my dad likes milder ones.

Ahh so maybe I will like my mini, I dont drink alot of coffee and would prob think the same thing as your Mom.

Last year we got the Keurig Ultimate Coffee Brewer w/ 54 K-Cups & My K-Cup Filter @ around $125. It's used and loved everyday - coffee for DH, and to brew ice tea for me.

Got the platinum about 2 weeks ago at Costco. It came with 72 k-cups and a DIY filter for around $150( a little less I think) I am loving this thing

My dad likes his coffee so weak that I would just reuse my kcup for his coffee.

I tend to forget about the water getting "stale" - especially when I've been gone for 3-4 months!

I have the B70 in LR and the B60 in New Orleans. I like the B70 better because it fills my big Mickey Mug.

Thank you for posting this! I was wondering when QVC was going to have Keurig as the TSV. I keep thinking that I should have bought this last year and I remember it being a great deal. I thought it even came with extra stuff-like maybe the filter or the cup rack?
