Why?

I picked MK but Epcot is right there with it... because the magic is at MK for me... and Epcot there is so much that I think changes there and things I still havent done.

I went with Animal Kingdom, though Epcot does run a close second. AK just seems to have more nooks and crannies with hidden details. The photo opportunities are a bit more exotic. The animals keep the scenery changing, always offering a new and different shot to take.

While MK is my favorite for many reasons I find myself seeing so much more to photograph at Epcot and in my photos after (can't explain myself well).

Next trip I'm going to really explore the Studios; I've totally missed so many places there!

I picked EPCOT, completely due to a gut reaction. Now I'm going to have to give some thought as to why. I definitely end up with more EPCOT photos than I do of any other park.

I voted for Epcot but it's a close call with AK. Epcots night ops swayed my vote. If AK stayed open late then I switch.

Wow, good question. I had to pick AK just because it's the one I have the 'most' photos of after a trip. I attribute this to trying to getting that perfect picture. I think the difficulty in getting the right picture is much more difficult than the other parks. But, Epcot and MGM are made for photography. There are great opportunities in each park but these two have such wonderful settings that they just seem to be my 'best' photos after a trip.

Definately Epcot. I love the flower gardens and scenery over there. My wife make fun of me because I like to take pictures of flowers. :hippie:

....well MGM is my least favorite. I can think of reasons why the other three could be my favorite. Gun to my head .............MK because of Wishes and those are the pics I will focus on most when I get home.

AK...it's got so much to offer. How anyone can say it's a 1/2 day park, I have no idea. I could spend days there just taking photos and not going on any rides.

1. EPCOT - there is just so many places to photograph between Future World & World Showcase.
2. Magic Kingdom
3. Disney Studios
4. Animal Kingdom

I had to go with MK although I could build an argument for all the four DW parks. Very close IMHO.

For me I would have to say epcot right now since i love taking architecture shots and epcot offers more intrest to me than the other parks rigt now but in all fairness I did not make it down to Animal Kingdom with my new camera so this may change in the future will just have to keep going back to find out now I guess:rotfl2:

I went with EPCOT. With all the different countries each offering something so different and then look at them at night. Awesome.

Though MK and AK are right there as close seconds. I love all the detail at AK and the different area's for wildlife photography that you can't find just anywhere.

MK is well MK.

Its really a tough choice.

Mine used to be Epcot but I think I've spent so much time there that it's hard to find anything new of interest to photograph. I'm sure that will change though.

My current favorite is Animal Kingdom. There is so much detail everywhere. I love the theming and the color, especially all the color on Discovery Island. The landscaping is gorgeous. There are a million sculptures around and water galore. On my last trip I finally got some night shots of AK - that was fun. It's definately my favorite for phtography right now.

Animal Kingdom is my favorite probably because I like nature photography best.

Disneyland, because it is close enough for me to go often. Currently DCA doesn't have enough to keep me interested, and for the most part they are not open after dark, so getting night shots there is difficult just due to timing. Hoping to get some in the near future.

Easy: Magic Kingdom.

EPCOT - WS is nice, but let's face it - Future World is a big concrete wasteland with a few interesting buildings around. OK, that's not really fair, but the sidewalk-to-interesting-object ratio is way out of whack.

MGM - the lack of a cohesive theme hurts it here, though there are some neat things and has some especially good night photography possibilities.

AK - great for animal photography, but last time I checked, AK is supposed to be "Nahtazu"! I can get animal photos at any ol' zoo (though usually not with such nice surroundings.) Still, AK is very close to the top pick - but the park usually closes before dark so not as much effect went into night lighting IMHO, so it's not as good for night shots.

DL/DCA - lots of neat opportunities but just too darned crowded most of the time, thanks to its "intimate" size. Also, being more of a "locals" park, it's easy to feel more conspicuous carrying around a pile of camera kit.

Tokyo DL - haven't been there but from what I've seen, this will top the list once I do go there. :thumbsup2

So, that leaves WDW's Magic Kingdom - the park I grew up going to, with many great photography options, great night shot possibilities, and it's the only park that you can easily photograph from outside the park - from the fire escape at the Contemporary, or the beach at the Poly or GF, or from the boat.

Oh yes, almost forgot, one more strike against MGM and AK - no monorails! It's just not proper Disney park photography without monorails. :teeth:
