I received a PIN code today for the 20-30-40% deals and it covers the dates I want this summer.

For those of you Disers that have done your research, which is the better value: moderate resort with 30% off or free Dining for 2a 2c?

Thanks

Free Dining is saving you over $100 per night.

I'm not sure of the prices for the moderate resorts for the dates you are going but I doubt you will be saving close to $100.

I have also heard that you can up your children's age (I would only do this if they are close to 10) and just pay the difference in the park tickets. The children would be free to order from the adult menu for both CS and TS meals.

DDP free dining for 2 adults 2 kids (assuming none over 9), will approach 120 plus taxes.($47+47+13+13). If any kids are 10 or older replace one of the 13's in the fore mentioned calculation with 47. Free dining is you best choice, sine moderates usually run 200+ or - 50 .... depending on resort (excluding wilderness cabins).

I used free dining for my last trip ( 2 adults, 17, 8, 6) ... saves almost 200 per day when taxes were added in. Room cost me 200 a night!

We stayed at POFQ with free dining in October (8 nights). We did the math on whether 4/3 would be a better deal, and the free dining was still the better option by about $100. The # of people on the meal plan and the length of your stay will be the big determining factors. I keep checking my email for one of these pins, I'm trying the tricks in the other thread & hoping for success!
