When planning a Disney/Universal vacation which is the best savings plan to go with? Getting an Entertainment Book, signing up with AAA or becoming a Disney Club member? I don't know how you guys do it finding the best deal you can for yourself. Must be practice makes perfect.

you should look at mousesavers.com
really helpfull info and it has all the discount codes, who they are good for, the dates they are good for. and many other ways to save money. you should also check out the mother site to the boards. www.wdwinfo.com very usefull info also. for menus and such you should check out www.wdwig.com

happy planning!! when are you going?

The best advice from the boards (and I'm finding from my own personal experience) is to do everything seperately...(packages cost more).
I began planning our December trip in March of this year. I joined the DC for the room discounts (I was able to get a great code rate yesterday and kept my DC reservations), the toll free number for reservations, dining ps', etc. I also enjoy the Disney magazine that comes with membership and the 10% merchandise discount at Downtown Disney doesn't hurt either.
Plan on what type of passes you want. I, and this is just my opinion, stay clear of the Unlimited Park Hoppers because they are only good for your length of stay and begin the day you check in and end the day you check out...(doesn't seem financially adviseable to me).
You don't say if you are going to be staying onsite at US/IOA...so that would definitely make a difference in the passes for those parks.
We are staying onsite at WDW and visiting US/IOA. I ordered these tickets from www.ticketmania.com They arrived yesterday and I paid the adult rate of $92 for "2 parks/2days". These passes come with admission to City Walk and (for a limited time only) a third day free. I also ordered our 5 day hopper passes from ticketmania and paid $221 each for three adult passes...(my dd's are adults at 12 and 14.
I'm sure I'm leaving a lot out..but this is pretty long already....hope some of this will be helpful to you!!!
