Which is better?

Which deck is better? 6 or 7 for a cat. 11 for DH, DW, son-4, son-7? Our first cruise.

We were in a cat. 11 deck 6 in June midship. We loved it. Better than deck 7? I don't know but deck 6 is in the middle of it all.

I don't think there are any "bad" cabins on those two decks, so I think you should weigh the location of the available cabins on each deck much more than trying to figure out which deck. Ideally, you should look for proximity to activities that your family will be most interested in and to stairs/elevators. Also, if someone in your family is prone to seasickness, you may want to find a cabin toward the center of the ship, rather than forward or aft, to minimize the rocking motion.

We had cat. 11 midship on deck 6 in January....loved that it was close to the midship elevators/stairs. We thought it couldn't get any more convenient. In October, we are in Cat. 11 deck 7 aft...near the secret deck 7.....and I can't wait!!!!! Both decks are great, in my opinion............And cat. 11 are a bargain!
