We were thinking of ordering pizza at the resort one night. Which pizza is best in the Lake Buena Vista area? I have heard that Giordanos and Flippers pizza are good. (Are there any others?)

From what I understand, I have to pick up the pizza in the hotel lobby.

Thanks.

Giordanos pizza is really, really good. If you like Chicago style deep dish, then you will love it. They also have thin crust too.:thumbsup2

Flippers is awesome, we used to stay off site at the Ramada Inn Maingate and would always go to Old Town for Flippers

Did I read somewhere that Giardanos delivers to the resorts??

They have Giordanos in Orlando? Wow. We love Giordanos in Chicago. Our favorite deep dish. Mmmmm.

Two locations near WDW.

Giordanos....Mmmmmmmmmmm.

The restaurant at the LAKE BUENA VISTA location will deliver to WDW resorts for about $5, plus tip.

The KISSIMMEE restaurant does not.

My family are huge thin crust pizza fans. We will have a car and would like to know where in Lake Buena Vista has the best thin crust?

Gourmeto's not far from the Marriott World Center is good for thin curst.

I've also heard that NYPD Pizza at 2947 Vineland Rd. in Kissimmee is great...never been.

(Disclaimer: neither will match Pizzeria Regina's in the North End :rotfl: )

Another vote for Giordano. Great Chicago style pizza. Although we have only tried the location on Rush St in Chicago. Didn't know they had locations outside the Chicago area. Now I think I have to try this on next trip to the World in June.:thumbsup2

Giordano's has thin crust pizza too. At least, the one here in Chicago does. Although, why anyone in the world would order that when they can have the deep dish, I will never know. (BTW, my BIL did this. I brought him to Giordanos to experience Chicago pizza and he ordered the thin crust. :sad2: ).

Does anyone have a picture of Flippers pizza. Many people talk about it, but I have never seen it.

Everyone has different taste. I do enjoy deep dish once in a while but being from the Northeast our favorite is thin crust.

No. I know. Deep dish isn't to everyones taste. But why say you want to go and get Chicago pizza and then not order it?

To make this post legit, if you order Giordano's plan on 1 piece per person. MAYBE 2 if a big guy or something. I can't really finish a whole piece.

Flippers is our all time favorite pizza. I got hooked on it when I was living down there and it was the only place who would deliver to my complex. The spinach, chicken alfredo pizza is the best.

Thin or deep dish? As you can tell by the responses, it makes a huge difference.

If you want thin crust, don't order Giordano's. Their version of this crust is not thin at all.

My favorite so far is Cafe D' Antonio in Celebration. Flippers on 192 is good too.

For comparison sake, have you tried Cafe d'Antonio's or Flippers? I'm going to have to try your two recommendations.
