What are the reasons you prefer one over the other?

I was always under the impression that the BMG was just some guys painted blue banging on trash cans, but I guessing that I'm wrong.considering all the hype its getting.
Still don't see how it could be worth the price of those tickets, even Aerosmith and Kiss were only around 50 bucks.
BMG - well, I hate to be in minority here, but it's just loud (to me, loud is not always better - just loud) and one does not have to have much talent to perform like that (except for good FX effects).
La Nouba bored me.
BMG blue me away. (Get it?)
You must be joking. I'd like to see you get up there and do what they do. In fact, why don't you video tape yourself playing several music sets and try to make us all laugh without saying a single word - then we can all judge your talent.![]()
No, I am not joking. We are just sharing our PERSONAL opinions, right? I am sorry youve never seen a truly talented performance.
I never claimed to be able to do what BMG does - its not my job. We all do what we are talented in. At least its how it should be. If for you BMG is an epitome of etartainment and talent .you haven't gotten out much, huh?
You are right. My apologies to the poster who, because of my merely stating my opinion in the original post, suggested I " video tape myself playing several music sets and try to make us all laugh without saying a single word" and then hypothesized about my "having even less talent than those talentless hacks".Thats just mean.
It is very hard to measure "talent." I am a part time musician and while technically, what the BMG plays is not all that complex, it is very creative. For an example of measuring "talent" look at U2. While what The Edge plays on guitar is technically simple, what he does with effects and unique sounds makes him (in my opinion) very talented. Yeah, just about any guitar player can do what he does but he was the only one to create that sound.one does not have to have much talent to perform like that (except for good FX effects).

As for the BMG show, I've seen it twice and I loved it. I have never seen La Nouba but I did watch a video of the show on Bravo and I fell asleep. Of course, I am sure it would be better live but what I saw didn't really excite me.
