Please help me decide. We have the DDP, but this is one we will pay for beyond the plan. We are looking at Liberty Tree Tavern at MK for lunch or Raglan Road for an evening reservation. We will be there without children. Appreciate any feedback.

Haven't been to Raglan Road but my friend has PLUS most of the posts have been very positive. BUT I HAVE been to LTT. I'd say, if you're going without the kiddies....Go to Raglan Road and enjoy the entertainment (which I've heard and read just great reviews about) and enjoy the great atmosphere and food of the place during the dinner hour!!!!!!!!!

Raglan Road is technically in Pleasure Island. It's become our very favorite Downtown Disney restaurant.

This is almost an apples and oranges comparison, but we like 'em both. At LTT for lunch, you'll order off the menu and there are no characters. It's been so long since I've been there for lunch, I can't comment much.

But Raglan Road is the total package, with yummy food and, uh, spirited entertainment. Thumbs up from me.

What type of restaurant is Raglan Road. My husband and I are going in December and are on the DDP but I have one day left to pick. You say it is at Pleasure Island? I would be very interested in knowing all about it. :yay:

We have done both, definately Raglan road. If you can, eat late, they have a band and a dancer after 9pm (at least when we were there)

Raglan Road is an Irish pub, but some of the entrees are a bit more upscale than classic pub food. You can of course get fish and chips or a burger, but there are other options.

We went last year shortly after the restaurant opened, but maybe there were still a few things to work out. We weren't all that impressed, to be honest, but maybe if we were there later and there was entertainment, and it wasn't our first day there, and we weren't starving, and there was a wine and beer list (rather than a server saying, regarding wine "Does it matter?" when asked what brands and regarding beer "What don't we have?"), then maybe we would like it more.

We normally love Irish pubs, but Raglan Road, at least last year, didn't do anything for us. That said, recent reviews have been good.

You're comparing apples and oranges.

Raglan Road later at night is a fantastic place for adults to spend time. Make a later dinner reservation, 730 or 8, and plan to hang around for the entertainment. Band comes on around 9pm and there is an irish dancer. The place became one big party when we were there and it was so much fun!

We'd (2 adults) pick Raglan Road.

Do you need tickets for Pleasure Island to get into Raglan Road?
