Which hotel?

I would like your recommendation regarding the "nicest" good neighbor hotel within walking distance to Disneyland. All of Disney's hotels are booked. We are going at the end of February. We have families going (with kids) as well some families without kids.

Any suggestions - "walking distance" most important. Adults would love a hotel bar!

Whenever we go we stay at the Desert Inn and Suites. It's right across the cross walk, right next to Denny's. It doesn't have a bar or restaurant in the hotel itself. I've heard people give bad reviews but honestly I find it to be clean and comfortable. Perhaps if you're used to staying in more upscale establishments it may not be your cup of tea but I see nothing wrong with it. Plus they have large suites.
