which hotel to start my holiday?

My family and I are travelling to WDW in June for a conference. We can stay for the duration of the conference at either the Wyndham or the Hilton Disney Village and then we will move to an on-site hotel (maybe even a deluxe if I can convince my husband!)
Anyway, can any of you hotel experts tell me which of the two hotels you recommend? The Wyndham or the Hilton? I have a 9 year old who loves to swim and during my conference they will visit Universal, SeaWorld and Downtown Disney.

Hands down it has to be the Beach or Yacht because of the pool there. They might not want to leave the hotel because of it.....
Search for pictures and you will get everyone excited to stay there.....

Well while the Beach Club would be nice, I don't think that was one of the options....

I think the Wyndam has a better pool set up. I have stayed at both hotels. The rooms are about the same, but I like the Hilton rooms a little better. The grounds of the Wyndam are much nicer.
