With only a mere 518 days to go :rotfl:, I've been looking at guides, what's everyone's choices on which to get, been looking at the unofficial one also the passporter one

Opinions please

Shaun :thumbsup2

We love the Unofficial Guide, we buy it every year. The only downside to it is it's a big thick book. It has all the information you could possibly need in it, but it makes a good seat for parades! :thumbsup2

I agree. The Unofficial Guide to WDW is the best guide book and definitely worth reading in detail at least once. My daughter likes the Bairnbaums children's guide to WDW.

I now buy the UG via Apple Books which means no longer having to carry big, thick book.

Cheers guys, just ordered the unofficial guide :goodvibes a little bed time reading for a while :)

Hey peeps to you who have suggested the above guide would you say it's a good read for somebody who has been to Disney too many times to count lol!
I love reading the boards and was wondering if it would be worth it for somebody who has been that much and should know a good amount already ??

I still read it now;) and we've been 10 times, especially if trying a new hotel - it has lots of interesting info. I love their sense of humour.

I don't actaully recommend for 1st timers that I know - may be off putting for them, usually lend them the Birbaum one!:), especially if they are taking kids. Besides I don't want too many people knowing which are the best parks to visit & use same touring plans:rotfl2:

I still buy the newest version every year and dip in and out.

I buy both the unofficial guide as it covers not only disney, but...........

I also LOVE passporter - my daughters photo has appeared in 2 of the editions I have purchased (2010 and 2013). Passporter pockets are brilliant for record keeping and keeping receipts etc. in for each day. Its a great resource for looking back on and comparing costs etc. :thumbsup2
