I can't believe I cannot find a thread on this topic.....

I know Tropicana has some rooms with views. There must be others. Which would you recommend? Thanks!

(I love to go to the fireworks but some in my party may want to stick closer to home).

I know Fairfield Inn has a side perfect for viewing fireworks from the balcony/hallway in front of the rooms. My Dad had a room facing fireworks but we always stood out in front of his room to watch so I'm not sure if the view from inside the room was obstructed.

I'm curious to know if the Carousel Inn has any rooms with the fireworks view since I'll be staying there next month. I'll definitely be asking!

I know the Hilton and the Hyatt do too and I think select rooms at the Red Lion do as well.

Thanks!

I searched the forums pretty hard and found

Hotel Menage (claims the fireworks fall into the pool!)
Red Lion
Fairfield

I'd also be curious if the Tropicana allows viewing from somewhere even if you don't book one of their special view rooms.

From the Sheraton Park, rooms facing DCA on the 6th or 7th floor. NOT Club level though.

Please report back! We're staying there in November. Even if there is some place to go to see them, that would be great!

Are you talking about the Hilton Garden Inn and the Hyatt Regency? Those seem really far away....

Nope, the regular Hilton behind California Adventure, and yes the Hyatt Regency. It is far, but it is tall, and we had a view from our room last time we stayed there. Great hotel.

The Desert Inn & Suites has an observation deck on the roof with a good view of the fireworks at DL.

I would rather watch the fireworks up close in front of the castle.

But that is just me.

Oh me too....... but not everybody in my party wants to stand in the crowd...... I'll leave them on the roof of the Desert Inn and go to the park by myself!

I think you can see them from the Howard Johnson if you're in a theme park view room. ....:rotfl2: For some reason this thread made me think of the time I stayed at Howard Johnson in 2004. In the late evening I was sitting outside on the balcony. All of a sudden I hear these really loud explosion noises. I ran back in my room quickly thinking they were gun shots. It took me a few minutes to realize it was the fireworks. :rotfl2:

Doesn't Carousel Inn have a rooftop pool? I would think you could see them from there........if you go on the Hilton's Website, they show photos of the rooms with a Disney view and one is of the fireworks.
