This year DH and I are making life easier by sending our friends family gifts, we are also down sizing our usual gifts because this is the first Christmas in a while that I am not working outside the home. We have decided to spend no more than $35 on each family and I would like to know if your family was to be the recipient which would you prefer.

I voted for the wreath. I might be the only one who feels this way, but I would say definately no to the popcorn, I don't know anyone who can ever eat that much popcorn. Again, I might be in the minority on this, but the popcorn is a big no. I would love fresh flowers or a wreath.

Good idea!

Tamie

I also voted for the wreath. Or I'd be happy with the candle centerpiece. :)

I voted for the Centerpiece.... I'm really particular about the decorations I put on my wreath.

I voted for the popcorn only because it said for the family. My DH and 3 DD's absolutely love popcorn.....me, I'd have a little.

I would like either the wreath or candle centerpiece if it was just for me and my DD's were grown up....

I voted for the popcorn--we often get this as a gift, and it always gets eaten quickly! A wreath for the front door was my second choice. I think they make lovely gifts too.

Wreath Wreath Wreath!!!!

I got one of those huge popcorn tins as a thank you from my boss.. First it was huge!

Try carrying that on a commuter train, and then walking from the train station home...

(Well you wouldn't have that problem, but thats the first thing that came to mind)

It was only the two of us then.. (no kids) the chocalate drizzle one went first, then regualar than the caramel.. I think we wound up throwing some out.. because we could never eat it all

Centerpiece. You can really only have one door wreath, generally, and they may already have one of their own. Centerpieces can find lots of places in the home for holiday cheer.

Well someone always gives us popcorn. I have about a million wreaths. Hickory Farms is OK. Now fresh flowers or a candle centerpiece, yup that is what I would like.

centerpiece. a lot of people may already have a wreath or might not want to hang one. :)

I voted wreath, because I have one on my door to match the seasons year round.

If they don't want to use it for the exterior front door, it can also be used inside, or on any door inside the home.

It was a toss-up between the centerpiece and the wreath. I went with the centerpiece, but I think either would be nice. I shyed away from the food gifts, because if you don't know if they like the items you choose, it could end up not being eaten. I like the centerpiece and wreath ideas though! :) :)

I'd like the centerpiece. I could always find someplace to put it.

I voted for the centerpiece but I think either that or the wreath would be gorgeous...I say a big NO to the popcorn too.

I think food - lol. We usually end up w/ at least a tin or two of popcorn. I may have to buy DH the cheese variety (good idea)
We dont entertain much over the holidays so Id want food!

Since you said families, I'm going to assume families with children, so I selected popcorn. The Hickory Farms cheese gift would be next.

Most people already have their decorations, but even if they get other food gifts, yours can be eaten well after Christmas.

Also, most children will get more enjoyment out of the food gifts than a wreath or centerpiece.

As is always the case, however, its really the thought that counts, so I'm sure the recipients will appreciate any of your choices.

I voted for the wreath, but I wouldn't mind the cheese from Hickory Farms. They have yummy stuff!
