We are undecided which excursion to do in Grand Cayman.

We did 7 mile Beach last time. This time we are deciding between 3 excursions. Added the 4th one as I thought it was nice.

After you choose which one you would like to do if you have ALREADY done it can you please comment how much you liked/disliked it.

TIA

Joanna

We didn't do any of those but we did do stingray city with Capt. Marvins and it was the highlight of our trip! It was GREAT!

I voted for Rum Point but OUR highlight was the all-day Capt. Marvin's stingray city tour!

We've vacationed on Grand Cayman and enjoyed Rum Point. You get a nice view of the island but the swim area is small at Rum Point. But there is a nice beach-side bar that makes great drinks (EXPENSIVE $10 for 1 fancy drink) and you can snorkel around the dock area. However, if you like to snorkel - there's NOTHING that can compare to the all day adventure with Capt. Marvin!!

I've done CM's stingray excursion and I'm considering RP Adventure. Which would you recommend?

Rum Point is really nice but to really enjoy it fully I wuold rent a car and do the drive on your own. Its easy and you can stop and take pictures along the way and it so much cheaper, you can afford some of the $8-10 drinks at the bar when you get there;)

Cico Avis Cayman they have really nice cars and amazing jeeps!!!! I would get a jeep:sunny:

If you decide to try the stingray trip I recommend the Buccaneer Stingray City Catamaran its a gorgous catamaran that does three snorkeling stops including stingray city which is out of this world!

We did the Aquaboats snorkeling tour. The guides were great, the snorkeling was cool. The other people on the tour were jerks, and unsafe in the boats.

On this tour you get to drive your own boat, and oyu need to be careful and watchout for the other guys. We were in the right place, at the right time, & had some idiot in another boat cut in front of us while we were going about 25 miles an hour. They managed to miss me (by MY evasive action) by about 15' at most.

It's a really cool trip if you like that kind of thing. Not too crowded, and nice sights.
